Smoke-free environment for dancers of all ages and levels. Tuesday Social 9pm – 11:30pm Admission is only $3. Attend a class Tuesday and the social is FREE. Every 3rd Saturday social 9pm – 12am Dance the night away to Swing, Tango, Fox Trot, Waltz, Hustle and Latin selections.
- The Blue Bubble Ballroom, Salsa Tuesdays offer classes followed by 8:00 Salsa Social.
I just wanted to let ya'll know my impressions of San Antonio's newest "Salsa Night". Semeneya Ballroom (Lee Rios) and Posh Lounge have teamed up to have Salsa nights on Wed. I haven't been able to make it the past couple of weeks but I went last night and it is super sweet! The music is 80% Salsa with a few Cha Cha, Bachatta, Merengues in there (DJ). The club itself IS posh. It's beautiful inside. The floors are all marble (surprisingly not slippery) and the interior is vividly rich. It's inspiring to dance in a club so well designed and pretty. And it's just a short drive from Austin. Posh is located at 7959 Broadway right across from one of San Antonio's best latin "high cuisine" restaraunts "So Luna". Yummy. Also a very beautiful, artsy place. There is a free beginner Salsa class at 8p. Open dancing starts at 9p. There is plenty of room for both beginners and advanced dancers to have fun without "tromping" on each other. Posh's website www.poshultra. com.
