  • Sabor Vallero Latin Dance Company "Flavor of the Valley" - The pioneers of the Salsa movement for the past 8 years in the Rio Grande Valley. Look here for lessons, events and the latest in the salsa scene for McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville, South Padre Island. Founded by Israel Coronado and Rosie Coronado. Sabor Vallero is the first dance company to represent the Valley at statewide, national and international salsa events.

  • 12th Annual Brownsville Latin Jazz Festival

A four day event that provides exposure to Latin Jazz artists that otherwise would not be accessible to the Rio Grande Valley. Grammy nominated artists are featured in concerts and provide interactive workshops for children. Also professional dance exhibitions are presented as well a dance contest patterned after "Dancing with the Stars" that involves the community.

Websters dictionary of Salsero Language defines this term as an event (social) that occurs every first Friday of the Month only on Even Months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) at Rio Grand Valley Arts Studio.

When: Feb 1st, Apr 4th, Jun 6th, Aug 1st, Oct 3rd, & Dec 5th Where: at 1025 W.Jackson in Harlingen. What Time: it will begin at 8:00pm What can you expect: 1. a Complimentary Lesson sometimes 2.
